The Lotus Fountain is an area in 1992's animated motion picture Aladdin. It is located in a courtyard behind the Sultan's palace. This area is frequently visited by Princess Jasmine and her tiger, Rajah, and dreams of her freedom from the burdens of being a princess, forbidden to marry for love. Ultimately, it is where the two plot Jasmine's escape from the confines of the palace and of the royal life.
Aladdin is a 2019 American musical fantasy film directed by Guy Ritchie, and co-written by Ritchie and John August. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures, it is a live action remake of Disney's 1992 animated film of the same name, which was based on the eponymous folktale from One Thousand and One Nights.
