MANILA, OCTOBER 2017 – Boston-based New Balance Athletics, Inc. is excited to continue the year-long collaboration with international lifestyle brand, New Era, as the two brands launch a second style - the New Era x New Balance 574 Sport. The New Era x New Balance 574 Sport pairs an iconic New Balance footwear franchise with New Era’s signature cap silhouette for a truly authentic style that is a nod to both brands heritage.


The New Era x New Balance 574 Sport will be available beginning October 21 at New Era Megamall for P9,995.


The items are designed for today’s modern style-conscious consumer and blends New Balance’s contemporary design with luxurious New Era materials. Created with New Era’s signature wool twill fabric on the saddle and foxing and premium black leather on the tip, collar strap, heel tab and tongue label, the gum outsole pairs nicely with a black Fresh Foam midsole. A co-branded insert showcases heritage New Era logos, and a metal New Era lace lock rounds out the details.


The New Era 9FIFTY fitted cap is the brand’s flagship style and an icon in sport and street culture. Created in 1954, this fitted cap features a structured high brim, high crown and flat visor. And although the fit and quality of the cap have remained intact, the brand continues to introduce new fabrics, textures, designs, colorways and embellishments to deliver millions of headwear options for today’s fashion-conscious consumer.


One of New Balance’s best-selling shoes, the 574 debuted as part of the brand’s 500 series of off-road running shoes in the late 1980’s. The launch of the 574 Sport in July 2017 marked the next chapter in the brand’s sports-style category which bridges the gap between performance and lifestyle. The 574 Sport features a sporty yet sleek silhouette with a re-envisioned sole unit including Fresh Foam cushioning and an Abzorb crash pad for a new level of comfort. The non-traditional tongue and bootie construction provides slip-on appeal for an on-the-go consumer.
