In a remarkable celebration of art, culture, and craftsmanship, New Era Philippines proudly unveils the Amorsolo Collection, the 6th and final release in its 59FIFTY 70th Year Anniversary series. This exclusive collaboration pays tribute to the enduring legacy of Fernando C. Amorsolo, the Philippines’ first National Artist, while bridging contemporary streetwear with Filipino heritage and ingenuity.

About the Collection
The exhibit will feature the Amorsolo Collection where the cap designs are drawn in inspiration from three iconic Amorsolo masterpieces of PinoyLUG —The “Early Traders”, “Bayanihan”, and “Dalagang Bukid”— reinterpreted in Lego-style artwork.

PinoyLUG: LEGO® as an Artistic Medium
A key part of this collaboration is the involvement of PinoyLUG, a creative community of Filipino LEGO® enthusiasts. PinoyLUG crafted three giant LEGO® recreations of Amorsolo’s paintings, using bricks gathered from around the world. These stunning pieces of art bring a modern, playful twist to Amorsolo’s masterpieces and have earned international recognition solidifying the global appreciation for this exceptional Filipino artistry.
The cap designs in the Amorsolo Collection directly reference the brick art mosaics versions of these paintings, making each piece a vibrant homage to both Amorsolo and the innovative reinterpretation by PinoyLUG.

The private event will be graced by Ms. Sylvia Amorsolo Lazo, daughter of Fernando Amorsolo. At over 80 years old, Ms. Lazo continues to honor her father’s artistic legacy, and her presence underscores the cultural significance of this collaboration.
Auction for a Cause
Adding to the event’s impact, 10 exclusive sets of the Amorsolo Collection—presented in a special box—will be auctioned, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Fernando C. Amorsolo Art Foundation, Inc.
The foundation supports children with disabilities through art education and provides scholarships for fine arts students, ensuring the continuation of Filipino artistic excellence.
