This year’s Independence Day collection is a special collaboration between Don’t Blame the Kids Apparel Co. (DBTK) and New Era. This is the 3rd collection we will be releasing with the prominent local streetwear brand and will feature 2
silhouettes -- a 9FIFTY and a tee.
The tee comes in black and will feature a full embroidery wordmark of “DBTK Pilipinas” centered in front. The font uses a Philippine inspired script and Philippine inspired colors –blue, red yellow and white.
The rear of the tee features a big logo print of the Kid logo in black and white with an overlapping price tag which reads “P9.50” (9 Pesos and 50 centavos) The “P9.50” refers to the 9Fifty silhouette the tee is partnered with in the collection, however is also a reference to the “Barya lang po sa umaga” phrase embroidered on the cap since anything worth 20 Pesos and below is considered as “barya” in the Philippines.
