Created in collaboration with the cult-favorite luxury-streetwear brand Fear of God, New Era — the international lifestyle brand with an authentic sports heritage that dates back to 1920 — presents the six-piece FEAR OF GOD ESSENTIALS SUMMER 2021 headwear collection.

Founded in 2013 in Los Angeles by Jerry Lorenzo, Fear of God is revered for elevating men’s streetwear style with experimental silhouettes drawn from luxury, military and West-Coast lifestyle inspirations. In 2018, Lorenzo launched Fear of God Essentials, a collection based on neutrals and wardrobe building blocks that complement the brand’s main line.

Following on from the New Era x Fear of God debut collaboration released in 2017, inspired by Lorenzo’s father — former professional MLB player and manager, Jerry Manuel — the Essentials Summer 2021 collection continues to honor the designer’s appreciation for America’s favorite pastime, baseball. Bearing Fear of God’s script F logo stitched on the front and the official MLB Batterman logo at the rear, the 59FIFTY fitted wool cap comes in five new colors: kelly green and orange, with a contrasting gray undervisor; plus navy, black and dark royal, with a kelly green undervisor.
