All Work And No Play Makes Jack A Dull Boy Stanley Kubrick The Shining 1980 Black 9FORTY K-Frame Cap

PHP 1,895.00

This is a 9FORTY K-Frame that has the phrase “ All Work and No Play Makes Jack a Dull Boy” embroidered on the front panel. This phrase is what Jack repetitively typed over and over on reams of paper when he began showing signs that he has “lost it” and abandoned writing the play he was initially creating. The actual manuscript from the film is printed on the buckram on the inside of the cap.

The Shining is a 1980 horror film produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick that was based off of the 1977 novel written by Stephen King. It centers around Jack Torrance, who was a recovering alcoholic and aspiring writer, as he takes the position of the winter caretaker of the Overlook Hotel in the hopes of curing his writing block. He settles in the hotel with his wife Wendy and his son Danny, who is plagued by “The Shining” which gives him the ability to have psychic premonitions.

Stanley Kubrick was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is frequently cited as one of the most influential filmmakers in cinematic history. His films, which are mostly adaptations of novels or short stories, cover a wide range of genres, and are noted for their realism, dark humor, unique cinematography, extensive set designs, and evocative use of music.
